Social Security Disability Backlog Increases

It’s incredible, but there are currently 728,000 pending applications for Social Security Disability before the Social Security Administration. According to TRAC, the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, government efforts to reduce the backlog are faltering. Essentially, there are dramatic variations from State to State. Unfortunately, Florida ranks number 9 among the 50 States, with a 22.1% increase in backlog during the past 12 months!!

Social Security Attorney and Lawyer Randy Zeldin, Esq. of Boca Raton, has indicated that his clients and other persons in Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, are enduring excruciating waiting periods for adjudication. Unless and until the U.S. Congress overhauls the Social Security system and increases the staff, waiting times are unlikely to improve, according to Randy Zeldin, Esq., a Social Security expert in Boca Raton, Florida.
