The Social Security Administration has announced that it anticipates receiving 3.2 million initial claims for disability, in the year 2010. That is an astounding increase of 600,000 additional claims, compared to just two (2) years earlier. According to Social Security Disability attorney Randy Zeldin, Esq., the Social Security Administration is underfunded to keep up with the increased volume. According to Randy Zeldin, Esq., who practices Social Security Disability law in Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, administrative and electronic reforms implemented by Social Security are helpful, but the real problem is with staffing. “There are simply not enough Social Security Judges and staff to move the flow of appeals” said Randy Zeldin, Esq., in his Boca Raton, Florida law office.
